ONLINE CLASS COMING!

I have GREAT news!!

I feel like I need to give a little back story before I get into that though. I am so overwhelmed with excitement and joy with the growth in my business over the past few months. I was never planning on selling or being one of the "those" people who do a side business while working full time. That just seemed like a lot of extra work and to be honest, I didn't want to give up my recliner and netflix time. BUT what I have found is spending time with my customers and sharing this joy I have and working with these amazing products that Stamping' Up! provides us with.... It is so much more fulfilling than sitting in my recliner and binge watching Gilmore Girls for the umpteenth time! As I am growing, I am reaching people I never imagined I would meet... I have customers near and far and I honestly do a happy dance every time someone signs up for a class! I have the opportunity to help people explore their creative side and embrace self care- because that is what you all do when you make time to craft. You are taking care of YOU! A lot of times, we get stuck in our roles in life whether that is caregiver, mom, sister, wife, employee, friend and we get so busy taking care of everyone else that we forget to take that moment and simply breathe and enjoy something that nourishes our soul. We have to be able to recharge so that we have something to give to those around us- fill your cup before you pour into someone else's- nobody wants that stale backwash at the end of the cup!

Anyway, back to my GREAT NEWS! In this upcoming year I am trying to reach out and accommodate everyone's busy life style. We don't always have time or the ability to simply travel to a live in-person class- so I am going to begin offering ONLINE classes! The idea is simple really. I will provide you with a list of supplies that you will need and I will keep the total around $35. In that $35 you will be purchasing the stamp set, maybe an ink and some paper or other supplies that will finish your projects. If you happen to already have one of the supplies then you simply pick something else that will fulfill the $35 dollar minimum. This means you could upgrade and add more dimensional or your favorite embellishment to finish your cards. I will try to give you the bare minimum supplies needed to complete the projects so you don't feel like you HAVE to have everything... at least not all at once! Then I will also suggest some coordinating items that if you feel extra or you want to enhance the finished product, they will coordinate seamlessly.  I will then send you any layering pieces, card bases, punched items and whatnot that you would need to complete the cards featured. You will also have access to an exclusive video tutorial that you can watch at any time and complete the projects at your pace. The joy of online crafting is you can simply pause, fast forward or even rewind the video to accommodate your natural pace. You will also receive a PDF file to your email with the written instructions with photos and tips and tricks. This gives you a variety of platforms to meet your needs.

SO how do you sign up? What is the first class going to be?

For each online class I will make a Facebook event to make it easy to find, and I will post a link. The link is basically an easy button. When clicked it will take you to my website and automatically put the required supplies into your cart for you! Isn't that great?! If you decided that you didn't need one or more of the items, then you can uncheck the boxes. There is also a search bar that if you wanted to add something you simply type it in and add it to the order. Then you click add to cart and it will take you to check out. REMEMBER, when you are signing up for an online class be sure to enter in the given hostess code. Because it is online, I need a way to track who is signing up for the class and who is just placing a fun order. So, when you type in the hostess code, your order is going into a special little box in the computer system so that I know how many people are signed up and who is expecting to receive the additional pieces, PDF and video. If you have any questions on how to do this, please don't hesitate to contact me, I will gladly walk you through the steps!

Once you have placed your order using the hostess code, I will cut the pieces and mail them to you. The goal is that the pieces will arrive to you about the same time that your order will arrive so that you have everything you need at once to finish the projects. Then you simply log into the exclusive video or pull up your PDF and you craft to your heart's desire! How fun is that!?

SO the first class I am offering is called "We'll Walrus be Friends." These adorable walrus friends are perfect for thinking of you, birthday and just because cards. They are sure to bring a smile when they arrive in the mail! The needed supplies are :
We'll Walrus be Friends stamp set - 149367
Whisper White Notecards and envelopes- 131527
 memento Black ink - 132708
These 3 items meet the $35 minimum order requirement.

Other coordinating products to enhance your projects would be to also add the watercolor pencils that coordinate seamlessly with our colored paper or if you prefer a more advanced coloring style, then the stampin' blends are for you! We will be using
Pool Party- 144605
Flirty Flamingo- 147278
Smokey Slate - 145058

Watercolor pencils- 149014

If you have never stamped before you may also want to add your favorite adhesives to piece your projects together- stampin' dimensionals are personally my favorite, they give your projects depth by popping up your layers. I also love the Tombow Mulitpurpose glue, you don't need a lot of it and it gives you just enough wiggle room so that you can get your layers perfectly straight.

Dimensionals- 104430
Tombow Glue- 110755

For the December 2019 Online class you will need to use the hostess code: MR6GVN6P
