Pigment Sprinkles

This past weekend I was a part of stampin' retreat hosted by Stamp with Lisa Marie AKA my amazing mom. ( follow her here--> Stamp with Lisa Marie  ). It was great fun and I was able to play with some product that has been sitting on my shelf for quite some time. One of the products was the pigment sprinkles, which to be honest are quite intimidating to me. I very much like for things to be precise and controlled and I don't like when I lose control of my work, and pigment sprinkles are very unpredictable! So after I created a horrid disaster that I will save your eyes and not share with you, I was cleaning my space with a baby wipe and this amazing smear affect occurred... so I decided to recreate it on my project! It's funny how happy accidents occur when you are crafting. Below I show you 2 different projects I created using this baby wipe smear technique and I just absolutely love it! I love that I could control it and that it created a simple background that my o

September Paper Pumpkin

This month's paper pumpkin featured 20 treat boxes all packaged up in an exclusive halloween themed box. Watch How I turned my box into a haunted house perfect for decorating and still had plenty of left over to make treat boxes to hand out! Also featured in my video was how to use 2 of our current punches to make a bat and pumpkin! Super Cute! This is such a fun project to create alone, with friends or even with your littles. I just love the way this turned out and the good news is, it is not too late to get yours! We have released the full Paper pumpkin kits and the refill kits to the website this morning! Hurry, go grab yours before they are all gone!  My completed Haunted house using the outside paper pumpkin box and the pieces from the kit. Fun fact, I only used 2 of the treat boxes total, which means I still have 18 treat boxes to hand out! How fun! You can make your house and your treat boxes with the same kit! Look how cute the windows are!   Usin

This is Maverick and he is definitely a good boy!  This past weekend I have been working on holiday classes. I have my monthly class coming up this week, Thursday at 6:30 pm. I have a few seats available and I would love if you could make it! This month we are using the "baby wipe" technique and playing with a few sets from the holiday catalog! We are also having an amazing deal on designer series paper this month, so I made sure to include some of the amazing prints in this month's creations as well! In case you missed it, through the 30th of this month, Stampin' Up! is offering a buy 3 get 1 free sale on select designer series paper packs. This is a great way to stock up on your favorite designs or maybe try a few that you have on your wish list. I know, I know- the big box stores h

Wrapped In Plaid Suite FREE PDF

I have been working hard today designing cards for the Stamp a Stack - Wrapped in Plaid Suite coming up this week. I was originally planning to design 3 cards, but once I got started I just couldn't help myself! If you signed up for the class, then SURPRISE! We will be making 4 cards, 3 of each design. So you are still leaving with 12 cards, but you will have a greater variety! I am pretty sure I have said it in earlier posts, but I am just loving this Wrapped in Plaid DSP. It is Gorgeous! I unintentionally created my original designs using the same DSP in 3 out of the 4 designs, I had to go back and switch it up a little, the Shaded Spruce Plaid just really spoke to my heart and made it sing- O' Christmas Tree has been stuck in my head all day!  For my customers who did not make it into the cutoff for ordering supplies for this month's stamp a stack class, I have created a PDF with all 4 of the cards complete with pictures, measurements and instructions as well a list
