Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop

It is time for another blog hop! I am a part of a tutorial bundle group and each month we have a different theme and our group of creative stampers design and provide instructions on how to complete a unique project, then we have a PDF that offers multiple tutorials on the specific theme. This tutorial bundle is something that I can then offer to my customers when they place an order with me! This blog hop is intended to extend the tutorial bundle and offer additional projects that are a spin off from our tutorial projects. So maybe we made a card for the tutorial bundle but then in the blog hop we demonstrated how to use the same products to create a 3D project or a fun fold. We want to extend the use of your product and make sure that you are able to fully use and appreciate all of your amazing products!

Life has been crazy lately and in the midst of starting my own private practice, I decided last minute to take a short trip to see family in Illinois... in doing so, I completely forgot that I was supposed to design an alternative project and I didn’t bring any of my supplies on the trip with me. Luckily, I have an amazing team! My down line Laura who is AMAZING at creating alternative projects and designing out of the box projects, came to the rescue! I was able to send my original design to Laura and request a coordinating project and she executed the challenge beautifully! I am so happy with the way this came out and I love how it features our amazing designer series paper in a functional project. Laura does not have a blog yet, but I keep pushing her to start one, she makes gorgeous cards and she has a talent for creating 3D projects!

In this project, Laura used the In Good Taste Designer Series paper paired with Walk in the Woods stamp set to create this adorable bookmark- how cute that this book mark says “ I’m lost without you” and it’s a bookmark so you don’t “lose” your place! I love it!

This simple bookmark design is achieved by using a 6”x 6” piece of DSP and scoring at 2” and 4.” Then we used our Trio punch to round the corners and the Label Me Fancy punch to create the ribbon slot on the bookmark.  In my original design, I colored using the Stampin’ Blends, but Laura demonstrated another way to color using our new Water Painters and Crumb Cake Ink to bring this adorable littler critter to life!

Be sure to check out the other alternative projects, and keep on hopping! We have an amazingly talented team of designers!
