Mega Tutorial Blog Hop

 


Hello fellow stampers! This month's tutorial Bundle is a MEGA tutorial bundle which means you will be receiving double the amount of cards/projects! For my alternative project, I created a Dia de Muertos themed project. I am not a huge fan of Halloween and the spooky themed projects, however having a Hispanic background and heritage,  Dia de Muertos or Day of the Dead holds a dear place in my heart. I love the idea of celebrating life and cherishing all the memories and stories of those that came before us. I used the Halloween Magic Dies which featured the perfect flower to decorate my Mini Paper Pumpkin box and combined it with the sentiment from Beautiful Autumn stamp set. I absolutely adore the Metallic Mesh Ribbon and I think it ties the project together well!

    LOVE this project, the colours are fabulous! Would you believe I haven't opened up my mesh ribbon yet? Also, did I see that you're an OT? As in Occupational Therapist? Me too!

If you are coming  to my August card class then you will be able to make this card with me! I felt like mixing the old with the new when I designed this card. I absolutely love our new nautical set Sailing Home with the sailboats and the anchor, but I still love the words that are in the original lighthouse stamp set, High Tide.
