Paper Pumpkin!
Lets talk about Paper Pumpkin, if you are not a current subscriber you should consider at least trying the 1 month pre-paid subscription! Every month you receive an adorable red box with all the supplies that you need to complete a set of projects. Sometimes, they are cards and other times they are tags, boxes or treat holders. The one thing that is consistent is there is ALWAYS something amazing in the box. Not to mention, if you don't particularly care for the projects that are provided in instruction, you can pinterest or google alternative Paper Pumpkin projects and somewhere, in the cyber world, someone super smart and creative has done all the thinking for you! The possibilities are truly endless! Every month before they charge your card and ship you a box, they give a preview or a "taste" of what to expect in the box, so if the preview doesn't do it for you then you simply check the box on your account that says "skip a month." Your card won't be charged and you don't receive a box in the mail. You may however be disappointed that you elected to not receive that month's box!
Inside your first Paper Pumpkin box as a new subscriber you will receive a clear block. Every Paper Pumpkin that you receive in future months will have a full set of stamps and all the stamps will always fit on that block. Which means you don't have to have any additional supplies! Paper Pumpkin is a great way to start building your color collection as well, with every box you get a new stamping' spot that coordinates with that month's project. Stampin' Up! has done an amazing job at using different colors from month to month so that it is very rare to receive the same color more than once within a calendar year.
For our August box, we have the opportunity to have an "add on." We have already been told in our sneak peek that we will be creating adorable gift bags and tags. Paper Pumpkin has also decided that for an additional $10 you can buy an add on which includes 24 notecards and envelops that will coordinate with the pieces from the August box. So instead of creating little gift bags and tags, you will use the pieces to create cards! From past boxes, Paper Pumpkin almost always provides additional supplies so if you mess up or if you decided you wanted to make bags, tags and cards, you would have enough pieces to complete a little bit of both. I personally feel like the August box is going to be adorable as a gift set. So make a gift bag with tags and then make a few of the notecards, tie it with a bow and BAM! you have a small gift that you can share with someone! How stinkin' adorable does that sound!?
You have to subscribe and order your paper pumpkin by the 10th of every month to receive your full box! At the end of the month, any left over kits and refills are available as supplies last, but are not guaranteed each month. Click the image below to get started and begin receiving monthly HAPPY MAIL!
