Peek at the August class






If you are coming  to my August card class then you will be able to make this card with me! I felt like mixing the old with the new when I designed this card. I absolutely love our new nautical set Sailing Home with the sailboats and the anchor, but I still love the words that are in the original lighthouse stamp set, High Tide. This was a simple layout which featured the banner triple punch ( why are the words backwards, I feel like it should be called the triple banner punch.. alas I did not name the product). The banner triple punch was designed to assist with making banners without having to fuss with getting the corners straight, it does all the work for you, which is great because banners and I do not get along! The banner punch is designed to accommodate banners that are 1 inch, 1 1/2 inches and 2 inches wide. My night of navy banner was created at 2 inches by 4 1/4 inches and my white layer is ever so slightly smaller than 2 inches by 4 inches. DSP is cut to 2 inches and my white layer is 4 inches x 5 1/4 inches. Card base is standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Full list of supplies can be found below.
