This or That!
These were both just fun ways to use up the DSP and even use scraps from your bigger projects!
This: I simply cut my paper strips at 3 3/4 inches by 1/2" and glued them on my whisper white layer which is 4"x 5" using my liquid multipurpose glue.
Layer that onto shaded spruce cut at 4"x 5 1/4". Stamp the tree and punch him out with the coordinating punch and then punch a shaded spruce tree to layer behind him. Finish it off with stamping words in shaded spruce ink and adding the red rhinestones to "bling" the tree! Super easy!
That: I used the starburst technique to lay out my DSP. First you cut your 6"x6" DSP into 2" strips of paper. Then I laid each rectangle on my paper trimmer on a an angle and cut the rectangle into 2 triangles. Then you lay out your triangles with the points lined up in the center of the right hand side. Glue them in place and then trim off the extra paper by flipping your white over and trimming away the excess from the back. Then simply assemble the remaining pieces of the card just like the first card!
